Due to extenuating circumstances, i was forced to cut off the back seat belt in a rental car. Itw as a life or death situation. Is there a way to not have to pay for the seat belt? insurance, police, etc.|||If YOU did it then you are paying. If there was a crash that made it REAL life or death then First Responders would do it and it would be in a report that it HAD to be done, or at least could be confirmed.|||There is no insurance for anything that you do on purpose, for any reason.
There is insurance for something that happens by accident or that someone stealing the car from you does.
