Your mistaken. I would wager most of them don't even know about Monty Python much less care about Life of Brian.
By the way, I love Monty Python.|||cause they can't take a joke.|||I'm catholic and I don't think it's blasphemy, it is the funniest film ever. I don't like the over-religous, they annoy me. By the way, I have no problem with it, but it is pretty obvious it parodies the life of jesus, but I think it's just harmless fun.|||No one has ever accused the religious fanatic of having a sense of humor.|||Because *aparrently* it parodies the life of Jesus - because ABSOLUTELY NO-ONE ELSE was crucified when the romans lined the roads with the crucufied. Just Jesus, so when Brian was crucified (With many other people around him) it was *obviously* sending up Jesus. Sheesh.|||because it is blasphemy to say that it is the funniest film ever.

he clearly states he is not the messiah, over and over. he was just born on the same day and there was mistaken identity.|||There is always a confusion created between understanding what is art for art's sake and what is indecent and blasphemous. It normally depends on viewers point. I honestly find the show artful, funny and entertaining. I only feel sorry about people who saw it otherwise but I respect them for how they see it.
