What is a third dan white belt?

I have 642 black Don belts in my life, and that many brown belts, a few blue belts, BUT never a white belt!





And never had a white belt called Dan! What is a white dan belt? And the third one? I feel so ignorant!!!! Explain!|||White belt is a classified as a beginner in martial arts, although some do have one before white belt.





Being a third dan white belt means I'm very crap at it....... Or I'm an except at being a beginner.





Time to change my ID, nah I do it tomorrow....

Changing my ID is a game at the moment for me....|||Well in fact dan belt is for black belts....

|||What did you do?!!! Buy your rank LOL. I only took 2 types of martial arts and I know that there is no Dan for a white belt.


Dan is to indicate the levels of black belt.


Kyu is to show levels proceeding to a black belt.


This ranking system is generally for Japanese martial arts.


So I don't know why you have this under China category.
